The whiteboard got wiped again. Trofeo gives your table tennis crowd a real Elo leaderboard that updates the moment a match is recorded - with set scores, win streaks, tournaments, and results posted straight to Slack.
How are ping pong ratings calculated?
Trofeo uses real rating systems - Elo by default for table tennis. Every player starts at 1200, and each match moves points between winner and loser based on the rating gap: upsetting a stronger player pays far more than beating a beginner.
Can we record doubles matches?
Yes - set up a separate doubles game and Trofeo rates teams with TrueSkill, running next to your Elo singles ladder.
Can we run a ping pong tournament?
Yes - one-off tournaments with round-robin, single or double elimination, or groups → knockout formats, seeded automatically from current ratings, with a shareable public bracket.
How the rating systems behind Ping Pong actually work - explained in plain language, no math degree required.
Each game gets the rating system it deserves - Elo, TrueSkill, or Glicko-2 - all in the same workspace, all posting to the same Slack channel.
