Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address), information generated through use of the service (match results, ratings, game activity), and standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, request timestamps).

If you connect Slack, we store a bot token (encrypted at rest) scoped only to the permissions you approved during the OAuth flow. We do not read Slack messages or access user data beyond what is necessary to post match results to channels you configure.

2. How we use it

• To provide and improve the service.
• To send transactional emails (match notifications, dispute updates). You can opt out per-notification type from your account settings.
• To process payments via Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• To aggregate anonymous usage analytics via Plausible (cookieless, GDPR-compliant, no cross-site tracking).

3. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your organisation, all associated data (games, matches, players, ratings) is deleted within 30 days. You can request earlier deletion by emailing hello@trofeoapp.com.

4. Third-party processors

• Clerk - authentication and session management.
• Stripe - payment processing. Subject to Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
• Resend - transactional email delivery.
• Plausible - privacy-friendly web analytics (no cookies, no personal data).

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email hello@trofeoapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie for authentication (set by Clerk). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless.

7. Changes to this policy

We will notify users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The current version is always published at trofeoapp.com/privacy.
